System of Care Events
2026 Annual SOC and DSOC Training
When: October 7, 2026, 9am – 12pm
Where: Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles Count (1025 Country Club Rd, St. Charles, MO 63303)
About: The day opens with a presentation from long‑time community leaders experienced in St. Charles County’s System of Care. They will share essential background on the model: how it developed locally, how it works across systems, and why it remains vital for supporting children and families in crisis.
You’ll also observe a live, realistic simulation of a District System of Care (DSOC) meeting. See how a “family,” school staff, and service providers work together to support a child in crisis. This demonstration offers a clear look at the process and how you can contribute within your role. (The “family” will be portrayed by a SOC professional.)

About: Building Missouri’s System of Care Together: Expanding Access, Strengthening Communities, Improving Outcomes
The Missouri System of Care (SOC) Summit 2026 will bring together family members, behavioral health professionals, educators, child welfare partners, healthcare providers, juvenile justice leaders, community organizations, and state agencies to strengthen Missouri’s communities across the state. The summit will showcase innovative practices, collaborative partnerships, and practical strategies that improve outcomes for young people and their families.
Participants will explore topics including System of Care expansion, family and youth partnership and leadership, school and community partnerships, rural innovation, and cross-system collaboration among child and family serving agencies.
*Due to limited parking, please plan to carpool if possible.
