About SOC

A System of Care (SOC) is a group of public and private organizations, providing formal and informal supports, who share core values about how to help support the needs of youth and families.

What is a System of Care?

System of Care is a coordinated network of services and supports for children, youth, and young adults with or at risk for mental health or other challenges. It is a comprehensive system that is culturally and linguistically responsive and works to help families and young people thrive at home, in school, in the community, and throughout life. Along with treatment, the System of Care focuses on promoting mental health, prevention, and identifying and addressing issues early on to meet the needs of young people.
